At present, 50.1% of adults in China, or nearly 500 million, are in pre diabetes. The number of diabetic patients is as high as 116 million 400 thousand, the number one in the world. It is generally believed that before the onset of development to clinical diabetes, the patient will experience a latent period of up to 10 years. Therefore, in the non-diabetic population, there are still more pre diagnosed or undiagnosed prediabetic people. Prediabetes is a reversible process. Early intervention for people with pre diabetes can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by 58%. Therefore, prediabetes is also the best stage of blood glucose intervention. At present, most of the mainstream treatment methods of diabetes are concerned about the treatment after carbohydrate. However, after carbohydrate therapy is only a means of control, which can not be cured, it is necessary to reverse the disease in the early stage of diabetes. Through this large-scale human clinical trial, we hope to find an effective pre glucose intervention method to reduce the huge social medical and family economic burden.
